2 people dead, another injured after a three-vehicle wreck in Victorville (Victorville, CA)

Two people lost their lives after a wreck early Tuesday morning in Victorville.

As per the initial information, the three-vehicle accident took place at about 5:47 a.m. in the 14600 block of D Street. When responders arrived at the scene, they located a dark 2001 Chrysler Sebring with major damage in the middle of the roadway.

They also found a pickup truck that had swerved off the road and fell into an embankment. A tractor-trailer combination with moderate damage to the front driver’s side was found along the shoulder. Two people were declared dead at the scene by the officials.

One person received non-serious injuries. The driver of the semi remained unharmed in the collision. D Street was shut down in both directions between the I-15 freeway and Air Expressway during the investigation and cleanup. No other details are made available.

An investigation is ongoing.
