On Sunday afternoon, two people lost their lives following a high-speed crash in Harris County.
As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place at approximately 3 p.m. in the 11800 block of the Eastex Freeway. The early reports showed that a Dodge RAM was traveling at a high rate of speed when it slammed into a Kia Soul from behind.
A man and woman inside the Kia Soul succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The driver and passenger of the truck were transported to a nearby hospital and are expected to be OK. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
