2 motorcycles hit an ambulance in SE Houston (Houston, TX)

Houston police actively responding to an accident involving an ambulance and two motorcycles in SE Houston on Sunday afternoon.

The incident took place on Griggs Road near Calhoun Road at about 1 p.m. According to reports, an ambulance was on the way to the hospital with a patient when two motorcycles failed to stop and crashed into the ambulance.

Authorities mentioned that one of the motorcycles T-boned the ambulance. On arrival, medics transported the motorcyclist to the hospital. None of the occupants inside the ambulance suffered any injuries. As per preliminary reports, one person died as a result of the crash, but as new updates were released, it appears it was not a fatal crash.

An investigation regarding the incident is continuing.
