2 men injured following an auto-pedestrian accident at Carson and Los Coyotes Diagonal (Long Beach, CA)

Two men were injured after they were struck by a car Monday morning in Long Beach.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian collision took place at about 7:22 a.m. on Los Coyotes Diagonal and Carson Street. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit both the men who were in a crosswalk. On arrival, medics rushed the man in his 80s to a local trauma hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The other man received treatment at the scene. On the other hand, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time. No other details are available.

The incident remains under review.
