The Memphis Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash at Memphis International Airport on Tuesday night.
The accident happened on Interstate 240 south of Airways Boulevard.
The collision involved two cars.
At least one of the vehicles was fully engulfed in flames, as seen on TDOT cameras.
An unknown driver of a gray Dodge Caravan passed away at the scene.
A second unidentified man who was operating a Honda Accord also passed away from his fatal injuries.
The names and identities of the victims were not released by the officials.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the authorities.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
