2 Men Died In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Buttonwillow (Buttonwillow, CA)

According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Monday in Buttonwillow. 

The officials stated that the crash happened north of McCombs Avenue at around 6:40 a.m. 

The officials reported that a 2011 Infiniti G37 was traveling south on Corcoran Road and drifted into a northbound lane into the path of a 2008 Kia Spectra. 

The driver of the Infiniti collided with the front left of the Kia. 

The officials confirmed that one of the passengers of the Kia was pronounced dead at the scene. 

It is unknown whether the driver of the Infiniti or Kia died. 

The officials clarified that drugs and alcohol were not involved in the crash. 

The identity of the victims is yet to be determined by the officials. 

No additional information was provided by the CHP.
