On Wednesday morning, two women suffered injuries following a traffic accident in Seattle.
As per the initial information, the pedestrian crash took place on S. Dearborn Street and Rainer Avenue S near Seattle’s Judkins Park neighborhood. The preliminary reports showed that a semi-truck hauling two trailers was turning left from S. Dearborn Street onto northbound Rainer Avenue S when the rear trailer rolled over.
A 67-year-old woman was trapped under the trailer. On arrival, rescuers managed to safely free the woman. She was taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition. Another pedestrian, a woman about 70 years old, was injured when she jumped out of the way of the trailer. She was also taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
Crews checked under the trailer but did not find any other victims. Responders stabilized the trailer and later brought it upright before dragging it from the scene.
