On Wednesday, a two-vehicle crash injured two people in Pharr.
The incident occurred on Cage and Business 83 in Pharr shortly before noon. According to the Pharr Police Department, they got the reports of a woman driving carelessly. Shortly after, officers tried to locate the vehicle. Before they could find the vehicle, officers got the news of a two-vehicle accident.
Police reported that the woman crashed her vehicle into another vehicle. On arrival, emergency crews took both drivers to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. The extent of the injuries suffered by the victims is unknown at this time. Officials advised the motorists to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
