A single-vehicle crash caused deaths of two people early Friday on U.S. 290 in East Austin, Austin police said.
Police actively responded to the eastbound lanes of the 9400 block of the highway, near Johnny Morris Road, just before 4 a.m.
The eastbound frontage road and main lanes of U.S. 290 remained shut down as of 7:30 a.m. from the 9200 block to the 9500 block, police said.
Police have not identified the reason of the crash, Authorities have not revealed any further information regarding this accident.
