2 Deputies Injured In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Anderson County (Anderson County, TN)

Off-Duty Deputies from the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and Campbell County Deputy were involved in a motor vehicle crash on Monday night. The incident injured two of the deputies. 

According to the officials, two off-duty deputies identified as David Lucas Shoffner and Constance Nicole Shoffner were involved in a motor vehicle accident. The officials stated that both the officials were fixing a chain on their motorbike on 333 Clover Circle when a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado struck them. 

According to the officials, Campbell County Deputy, Raymund C. Surber hit the other two deputies. 

The victims were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries according to the officials. 

Nicole Shoffner has suffered a hip fracture. David Lucas was taken to UT Trauma with several head injuries. 

Raymond Surber was injured in the accident, stated the officials. 

The case is under investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
