2 children injured after an auto-pedestrian crash in Henderson (Henderson, NV)

On Monday afternoon, two juveniles suffered injuries after intentionally being hit by a vehicle in Henderson.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place at about 1:25 p.m. in the area of Palo Verde Drive and Burkholder Boulevard, near Basic High School, in Henderson. The early reports showed that a suspect intentionally hit two minors with a vehicle for reasons that are yet to be known.

On arrival, emergency crews rushed one of the victims to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the other was provided medical aid at the scene for minor injuries. At this time, it is unknown if the suspect was arrested. Officers considered it as a battery with a deadly weapon (vehicle). No other details are made available.

The incident remains under active review.
