22-year-old Michael Garcia was involved in a rollover crash Tuesday on Las Vegas Boulevard that claimed the life of a 19-year-old woman.
As per the initial information, the fatal car accident took place minutes after 12 p.m. near the intersection of Walnut Road and Las Vegas Boulevard. The investigation reports showed that Garcia in a southbound 2004 Toyota Corolla drove onto the rock median, lost control, and rolled over. His vehicle ended up sliding into an oncoming Kia Soul.
On arrival, responders rushed Garcia’s 19-year-old female passenger and Kia’s driver to UMC Trauma. The 19-year-old woman died of her injuries at the hospital. Garcia incurred minor injuries in the accident. He stayed at the scene and did not show any signs of impairment. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
