19-Year-Old Tyson James Wofford Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Comanche County (Comanche County, TX)

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday. The authorities have confirmed that one person died. The deceased victim has been identified as 19-year-old Tyson James Wofford. 

Around Sunday morning the crash happened when James Wofford was traveling south on State Hwy 16, 5.4 miles northeast of Comanche. The truck was driven off the roadway to the east and travelled a short distance in the ditch. Wofford took evasive action, steering right towards the roadway but lost control of his truck and hit a tree.

The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It remains uncertain whether alcohol or drugs were contributing factors in the collision.
