19-Year-Old Ty Pressley, 48-Year-Old Michael Perez Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Orange County (Orange County, TX)

Tragedy struck near Orange Grove on Wednesday night, claiming the lives of two individuals in a fatal collision. The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the victims as 19-year-old Ty Pressley from Sandia, Texas, and 48-year-old Michael Perez from Corpus Christi.

The multi-vehicle accident occurred when a Ford Expedition driven by 18-year-old Quinton Pressley of Odem, Texas, ran a stop sign on FM 70 and 624. The SUV collided with a crane driven by Michael Perez. The fatal crash caused the SUV to spin out of control and catch fire. This resulted in Ty Pressley, a passenger in the Ford, being trapped and succumbing to the flames.

Michael Perez was taken to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
