Authorities identified 19-year-old Stephen Harris, from Huntsville, as the man who lost his life following a crash early Friday morning in Madison County.
As per the initial information, the fatal traffic collision took place at around 2:50 a.m. on the Interstate 45 service road. The preliminary reports showed that a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 was heading north on the Interstate 45 service road a half-mile south of Madisonville.
A 2022 Freightliner truck tractor towing a semi-trailer was parked on the improved shoulder of the service road. The reports further revealed that the pickup truck veered off the road and crashed into the back of the semi-trailer. The driver of the Dodge, identified as Stephen Harris was declared dead at the scene. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
