According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Weslaco on Monday.
The crash happened on FM 493.
According to the investigators, a black Ford F150 and a red 2005 Harley Davidson Sportster were involved in the collision.
The motorcyclist was traveling northbound, made a right turn, and collided head-on with the pickup truck.
A 19-year-old Raul Osiel Luna was identified as the motorcyclist who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
