A tragic highway crash near Stoneburg, Texas, claimed the life of a 19-year-old man from Duncan, Oklahoma, on Saturday evening. The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed that Noah Patrick Spaulding was driving northbound on US 81 shortly before 7 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle.
The incident occurred during a rainstorm while Spaulding attempted to pass an 18-wheeler, resulting in the fatal crash. Sadly, Spaulding was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
