According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Madera County on Sunday. The crash happened near Highway 41 and Avenue 15 at around 6 p.m.
According to the investigators, a Chevrolet Camaro and a Mini Cooper were involved in the collision. The driver of the Chevrolet crossed into the other lane and collided head-on with a Mini Cooper.
24-year-old Lorenzo Antonio Morales-Cortes was identified as the driver of the Chevrolet. The officials stated that a 19-year-old woman suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Madera County Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
The accident is still being investigated by the authorities. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Police.
