19-Year-Old Killed In A Motor Vehicle Collision In Wasco (Wasco, CA)

The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle collision that killed a 19-year-old in Wasco on Sunday. 

The 19-year-old driving a 2008 Infiniti Northbound on Scofield Avenue, north of McCombs Avenue crashed into a wooden utility pole. This happened as he was trying to make a turn toward the east of the road. 

The 19-year-old was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt. The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. 

It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
