19-Year-Old Killed In A Fatal Crash In Brownsville (Brownsville, TX)

According to the Brownsville Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Saturday evening in Brownsville.

Officials confirmed that one person died due to the accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred at the 1200 block of E, on 14th Street.

The driver of a vehicle lost control due to high speed hit a curb, and then a fence and tree.

The vehicle then rolled over in the lane. 

The 19-year-old inside the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.

The identity of the victim has not been disclosed. 

Speed is believed to be the major cause of the accident.

The crash remains under investigation by the BPD.
