According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, a motor vehicle crash that took place in Nashville killed a person on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, 19-year-old Kevonta Lane, traveling in his 2017 Infiniti Q50, on Interstate 24, for unknown reasons, lost control of the vehicle, swerved off the road, and crashed. As a result of the crash, the driver of the vehicle was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene, said the authorities.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
