19-year-old David L Fuller IV dead, William D Glasco hurt after a crash near Kilgore (Kilgore, TX)

Authorities identified 19-year-old David L Fuller IV, of Sikeston, Missouri, as the man who lost his life and William D Glasco who suffered injuries following a head-on collision on Wednesday near the city of Kilgore.

As per the initial information, the fatal two-vehicle crash took place on U.S. 259 south of Danville Road. The early reports showed that a 2001 Ford Mustang, being driven by David L Fuller was heading north on highway 259. On the other hand, a 2004 Mack dump truck, driven by William D Glasco was going south on the same highway.

The Ford Mustang failed to drive in a single lane and went over the center line, and entered the southbound lane. The driver of the dump truck tried to avoid the Mustang but failed. The Mustang crashed head-on into the dump truck, officials confirmed.

David L Fuller suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. William D Glasco was rushed to CHRISTUS Good Shepherd hospital in Longview where he is reportedly stable. No other information has been provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
