Authorities confirmed that 19-year-old Ashley Acosta died of injuries she suffered following a two-vehicle accident on Jan. 30 in Morrow that also killed her unborn child.
The fatal car crash took place on Jonesboro Road just before 1:55 a.m. According to the investigation reports, 32-year-old Jeffrey Cordell Faulks of Morrow was driving under the influence on Jonesboro Road in his 2017 Ford F150 truck.
