According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Victorville on Saturday. The crash happened at the intersection of Hesperia Road and Ottawa Street around 10 p.m.

The officials stated that a silver Nissan Sentra and an unknown vehicle were involved in the collision. According to the investigators, the driver of the unknown vehicle lost control and crashed into another vehicle.  

A 19-year-old Abraham Hinojosa-Mercado suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

According to the deputies, it is unclear what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were a factor involved. Additional information regarding the fatal crash is not available currently.
