On Tuesday night, 18-year-old Samuel J Morson lost his life in a deadly car accident in Point Roberts.
Troopers report that 18-year-old Samuel J Morson was heading south on Roosevelt Way at the border at around 9:30 Tuesday night when he lost control of the Tesla sedan and rammed into a concrete barrier.
He was the sole person involved in the crash. On arrival, emergency crews airlifted him to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham where he later succumbed to his injuries. The circumstances that caused his vehicle to lost control remain unclear.
Authorities will continue to investigate the crash.
