According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Pine Valley on Monday. The crash happened on Old Highway 80 in a Toyota Camry at around 11 p.m.
According to the investigators, an unknown vehicle and an 18-year-old were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the driver of the vehicle veered across the westbound lane and crashed into rocks.
An 18-year-old was identified as the driver who was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Pine Valley Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
