18-year-old Kierra Clay, 19-year-old Kathryn Beasley and 17-year-old Bethany Rose Pizarro killed in a wreck (Dalton, GA)

Authorities identified 18-year-old Kierra Clay, 19-year-old Kathryn Beasley and 17-year-old Bethany Rose Pizarro as the three teenage girls who lost their lives after a multi-vehicle accident in Dalton on Friday.

As per the initial information, the incident took place on Georgia Highway 2 at Haig Mill Lake Road Friday night at about 9 p.m. Officials confirmed that Kierra Clay, 18; Kathryn Beasley, 19; and Bethany Rose Pizarro, 17, all died in the wreck. Beasley was reportedly driving the car when the tragic accident happened.

The investigation reports revealed that a car driven by Beasley went off its southbound lane and crossed over the median where it crashed into a Dodge Ram head-on. Beasley’s car spun out due to the impact and was struck by another car.

The drivers of the two other vehicles received non-fatal injuries. Reports further mentioned that Beasley was the mother of two children, a 3-year-old son and a 1-year-old son. It is unknown if the driver of the Dodge Ram will face any charges. The identities of the injured victims remain undisclosed at this time.

An investigation is ongoing.
