According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Castaic on Tuesday. The crash happened on Old Road south of Parker Road at around 9:45 p.m.
According to the investigators, A 2021 Toyota Camry and an 18-year-old were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the driver of the Camry traveling southbound struck a dirt ditch embankment, and the driver was trapped.
An 18-year-old Kenneth Forte was identified as the Camry driver who suffered significant injuries and was transported to the hospital. According to the California Highway Patrol Newhall Area Office, Kenneth was later pronounced dead.
The accident is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. Additional information regarding the fatal crash is not available currently.
