18-Year-Old Female Injured After A Motor Vehicle Crash At Leonard Street (Grand Rapids, MI)

Michigan State Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash that injured an 18-year-old female from Grand Rapids. The wreck happened southbound on US 131 at Leonard Street.

According to the officials, the female driver lost control of her vehicle and struck a traffic attenuator. Following the collision, the car rolled and ejected the 18-year-old. She was transported to the hospital in critical condition. 

Only one car was involved, confirmed the troopers.

Traffic was rerouted following the crash. Drivers are requested to take an alternate route. 

Grand Rapids Police assisted the crash scene along with the MSP. An investigation into the crash is underway.
