On Sunday, a traffic accident took the life of 18-year-old Ethan Burns and injured two others in Fruitport Township.
As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle crash took place at the intersection of S. Sheridan Road and Airline Highway at about 5:28 a.m. On arrival, officers found the driver, identified as 18-year-old Ethan Burns of Roosevelt Park, dead at the scene.
His two passengers, both 18-year-olds from Muskegon, were taken to Mercy Hospital with unspecified injuries. Speed and alcohol are believed to be involved in the accident. No other details are immediately available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
