Tragedy struck in Manor on Sunday morning when an 18-year-old driver lost his life in a fatal crash. According to the preliminary investigation by Texas DPS, the incident occurred around 9:48 a.m. on October 22, on the N SH 130 northbound service road near Gregg Manor Road.
The young driver was navigating the service road, which unexpectedly ended in a dead end. Unfortunately, the vehicle proceeded past this point and entered a construction site, resulting in a devastating motor vehicle accident. Despite the efforts of ATCEMS medics, the driver was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the victim has not been disclosed at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The incident is under investigation.
