The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the person who was killed in a deadly motor vehicle crash in Sanger on Saturday.
At around 2:40 a.m., 17-year-old Uriel Velasquez driving a Sedan eastbound, Highway 180, east of Mccall Avenue, swerved off the road. This caused the vehicle to move widely toward the light pole, said the authorities.
Eventually, Velasquez was thrown out of the vehicle and killed right away. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
