The Goodyear Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Friday early morning. The collision involved only one vehicle. The accident happened at Citrus road and Indian school at around 1:30 a.m.
The 17-year-old teen’s vehicle overturned after colliding with another vehicle. The teen driver incurred fatal injuries and passed away at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Police have not disclosed the teenager’s identity nor released any details of what may have caused the collision.
It is unsure what caused the crash and how it happened. Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found. The fatal collision is being investigated by the officials.
