According to the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office, the victim of a motor vehicle accident has been identified. The officials have reported that 17-year-old Jacqueline Mendez of Riverbank was killed in the accident. 

A train accident took place in Stanislaus County at 10:50 a.m. The events leading up to the crash are not entirely clear at this time. Jacqueline Mendez was fatally injured as she was struck by a train and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
