17-Year-Old Elias Cruz, 14-Year-Old Sarah Cruz Killed In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA)

The Rancho Cucamonga Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash that killed 2 people on Friday. The victims have since been identified as 17-year-old Elias Cruz and 14-year-old Sarah Cruz. 

At around 4:25 p.m., a vehicle traveling with two occupants lost control, swerved off the road, struck a pole, and then a tree. As a result, the two occupants, 17-year-old Elias Cruz and 14-year-old Sarah Cruz, were fatally injured and were pronounced dead at the scene.

It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
