A tragic ATV crash in Shreveport has claimed the life of a teenager. The incident unfolded around 9:35 p.m. on Saturday, April 13. According to Shreveport police, the 17-year-old was riding his off-road vehicle along the railroad tracks near Slack Road and Benton Kelly Drive when he collided with an object, leading to a loss of control.
The ATV subsequently flipped multiple times, resulting in fatal injuries. Emergency responders pronounced the teenager dead at the scene.
The precise circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation. It is not yet known whether alcohol or drugs were involved or not.
