17-Year-Old Boy Critically Injured In A Hit-And-Run Accident In Detroit (Detroit, MI)

The Detroit Police Department reported a hit-and-run accident on Tuesday morning. 

The accident occurred on Joy Road near Stahelin Avenue around 3.07 a.m. 

The victim, identified as a 17-year-old boy, was struck by a dark-colored Dodge Charger with tinted windows. 

The victim was traveling eastbound on his skateboard during the crash. 

The suspect did not stop and drove away.

Upon the arrival of the officials and the medics, the boy was taken to the hospital with significant injuries. 

Officials reported that as of Wednesday, he was still in critical condition. 

The identity of the victim has not been disclosed.

The officials are still looking for the suspect. 

There is no cause revealed as of the moment.
