Two teenagers lost their lives and two others were hospitalized after a stolen car crashed during a high-speed police chase in Texas. The pursuit started around 2:20 a.m. on Monday when a deputy spotted individuals potentially involved in a burglary in Waco.
They fled in a stolen Mazda 3, leading to a chase that ended near Interstate 35 after the car rolled multiple times at a sharp curve, throwing all four occupants from the vehicle. The car caught fire, and two occupants, a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The conditions of the survivors remain undisclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
