17-Year-Old Austin Pal Killed In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Ashtabula County (Ashtabula County, OH)

The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Ashtabula Post is investigating a tragic crash that claimed the life of a 17-year-old boy. According to troopers, the incident occurred on State Route 193.  

A 2004 pick-up truck carrying two 17-year-old boys, veered off the left side of the road, struck a ditch, and overturned multiple times. Both occupants were ejected from the truck as they were not wearing seat belts.

Sadly, Austin Pal, 17, of Ashtabula, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Another 17-year-old boy sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland. The crash, which happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday remains under investigation by authorities.
