17-Year-Old Arrested After A Motor Vehicle Accident In Nashville (Nashville, TN)

According to the Metro Police, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Wednesday. 

The officials stated that the crash happened on Briley Parkway South past the Two Rivers Parkway exit. 

The officials reported that a Honda Accord driven by a 17-year-old was traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver of the vehicle lost control and crashed into a wood line. 

The officials confirmed that a 14-year-old died at the scene and two other teens, both 16-year-old suffered non-life-threatening injuries. 

The driver of the vehicle admitted to being intoxicated at the time of the accident. 

The officials have charged him with vehicular homicide by intoxication and two counts of aggrvated assault. 

The suspect suffered injuries and is at the hospital. 

No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided.
