The Phoenix Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident on Sunday. The accident occurred near 40th Streett and Osborn Road at around 3 a.m. 

According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in the collision. A vehicle was headed the wrong wat on 40th Street when it crashed into another car. 

The driver of the first vehicle was critically injured and rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead. She has since been identified as 17-year-old Amalia Judiscak. The occupants of the other vehicle were also taken to hospital but with moderate injuries. 

The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
