16-Year-Old Teenager Killed In A Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash In Marysville (Marysville, WA)

The Marysville Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday morning. The accident happened in the 4700 block of 136th St Northeast. Four teenagers—two who are 15 and two who are 16 were involved in the collision.

Three boys were found in a ditch next to the road when police and medical personnel arrived on the scene. The car was reportedly moving eastbound on 136th when the driver lost control while speeding and drove over railroad tracks in the 4500 block.

A 16-year-old teenager was pronounced dead at the scene. Two of the teenagers were taken to Providence Hospital by ambulance. One of them later received serious injuries and was taken to Harborview Medical Centre. 

Investigators were informed by witnesses that a fourth boy had left the area. He was discovered about half a mile away. The fatal crash is being investigated.
