According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported in Sutter County, California.
Officials confirmed that one teenaged person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred at the turning where Bogue Road becomes Clements Road. The driver-victim failed to make the turn and went off the side of the roadway.
A 2014 Chevy Camaro flipped over into a water-filled ditch.
The driver of the vehicle was rescued from the wreck but was unresponsive. The 16 year old victim was unfortunately pronounced dead at the hospital.
The identity of the deceased is pending release
Other insights pertaining to the accident are yet to be determined. The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
