15-year-old Torrian Poore suffered injuries after he was struck by a car on Monday in Antioch.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place near Zaxby’s on Murfreesboro Pike at about 1 p.m. The preliminary investigation showed that Torrian Poore was struck by a vehicle near Zaxby’s. According to his father, his son had fractures and swelling in his skull and a puncture to his leg.

Officials reported that he remains on a ventilator. Reports further added that the driver initially fled the scene, but finally returned. Charges are unknown at this time. His family added that the boy goes to Knowledge Academy in Antioch and plays on the school’s basketball team. No further details were provided.
