On Wednesday night, a 15-year-old was reportedly left in a hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Newhall.
At about 8 p.m. Wednesday night, first responders got information of a traffic accident on Sierra Highway and Dockweiler Drive in Newhall, as per officials with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. On arrival, first responders found out that a 15-year-old who had been riding a scooter was hit by a vehicle.
According to the reports, emergency personnel applied a tourniquet. Multiple units were summoned to cordon off the surrounding area. As of Wednesday night, the extent of injuries suffered by the victim remains unknown. No other details have been released by the officials.
An investigation is underway.
