15-year-old Eduardo Romero Flores was killed in a motor vehicle accident in Livingston. The accident has led to the arrest of 41-year-old Gregory Jackson, the driver of an 18-wheeler involved in the incident.
The Livingston ISD student was hit and killed while getting off a school bus on US-59 north of Livingston. The school bus had its flashing red lights and stop sign extended when a semi-truck, driven by Jackson, collided with a car behind the bus. The vehicle then veered and struck the teen in a driveway.
Eduardo Flores was fatally injured and was pronounced dead in the motor vehicle accident. Jackson, employed by Livingston Trucking, faces charges of criminally negligent homicide.
The fatal crash is still being investigated at this time.
