The Washington State Patrol reported a single-vehicle accident on Friday.
The accident occurred on Highway 12, 13 miles west of Naches. It happened just after noon.
According to the officials, a Chevy Venture was driving on the highway when the driver failed to negotiate the curve correctly. This caused the vehicle to leave the road and hit a rock wall before rolling over.
The driver of the vehicle, identified only as a 14-year-old boy, was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. There was one other occupant, a 15-year-old passenger, who was also injured and was taken to a hospital. Their identities have not been disclosed.
The cause of the fatal accident is still being investigated by the authorities. There are no other details available at this time.
