The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a multi-vehicle accident in Waxahachie on Sunday evening. The accident occurred on Boz Road, 7 miles west of Waxahachie just after 7 p.m.
According to the officials, a 2008 Polaris ATV was headed west on Boz Road. At the same time, a 2019 Ford Ranger was headed north on Greathouse Road. The ATV failed to stop at the intersection which caused it to crash into the Ford.
The occupants of the ATV were thrown from the vehicle due to the force of the crash. One of them was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The officials have identified the victim to be 12-year-old Wyatt Randle.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated by the authorities.
