According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Beaumont on Sunday.
The crash happened on I-10 near Beaumont at around 6 a.m.
The officials stated that a Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV and an unknown vehicle were involved in the collision.
According to the Police, the driver of the Chevrolet was traveling when another car changed lanes and cut the SUV off.
The driver tried to avoid hitting the car but crashed into the concrete barrier, causing the car to flip.
A 11-year-old boy suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision.
All ten survivors of the crash suffered injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
