According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle crash that took place in San Diego claimed the life of an 11-year-old girl on Saturday.
Approximately at 2:40 p.m., a 2020 Honda Accord driven by a 27-year-old woman crashed into a 2022 Ford F-150 at the intersection of SR-76 and SR-79. An 11-year-old girl in the Honda was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The officials have not disclosed if there were others injured in the collision.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
